Alfred William Anderson, Adelina Sophia Danielsdotter and daughters

Here are my Swedish 2nd-great grandparents Alfred William Anderson, Adelina Sophia Danielsdotter and their four daughters. Adelina's Americanized name was Sophia Alida Danielson. They resided on a farm in rural Ong, Clay County, Nebraska. when the photo was taken in about 1900. This is a reproduction of the original held by Alfred and Adelina Sophia's great-granddaughter, Sally Shea Bard.

Dennis Shea, Bridget Luddy and nine children

Dennis or Denis Shea and Bridget Luddy are another pair of 2nd great-grandparents. He emigrated from County Cork, Ireland and she from County Tipperary. They were married in or near Troy, New York and settled as farmers in Le Sueur, Minnesota.

This photo was taken about 1895 and includes all their children. Left to right with ages, third row: Bridget Ann, 14, Thomas Francis (my great grandfather), 30, William H., 29, Dennis, 16, Johanna J., 21; second row: John Patrick, 24, Bridget D. Luddy, 50, Mary E., 26, Anna Elizabeth, 12, Dennis Shea, 57; and first row: Alice Gertrude, age 9.
